Tile:
You can use glass tile, porcelain tile, granite, slate, marble, china, glass beads, shells, glass, whatever you want. The size of your tile is up to you.

Adhesives:
Glass to Glass - use household goop w/applicator (Home Depot or any hardware store) or craft goop.

Anything that will get wet - use mortar (thin set 7100), ie. clay pot, bird house, outdoor table, etc..

Most everything else - use mastic (Home Depot or a tile store for mortar and mastic
